You can send files directly to Zoho and modify them, then save them back to your Box account once changes are made.
To use Zoho, right click on a file and select “Edit document,” “Edit spreadsheet,” or “Edit presentation.” The file will open, and you can use Zoho’s intuitive interface to change it. When you are done, save it, and it will overwrite the original file in your Box account.

This is great! The option to edit Open Document Text files (.odt) has now been added, and that's fantastic (especially for Open Source fans like me). I would like it even more if Zoho Show (for presentations) were added, which supports the Open Document Presentation (.odp) format, and if the Zoho Spreadsheet editor could start supporting the Open Document Spreadsheet (.ods) format. Go free office software! Go OpenOffice.org! Go Zoho!

The idea is terrific, but I was disappointed to see that when I opened my document I lost all my formatting. The comments that accompanied the document were deposited into the text as well. This basically made the document unusable for me. Is there any way to avoid these problems? I was using Zoho on a Mac (at work). At home (where the doc was created) I have a PC (XP), if this info is useful. Thank you. I'd love to be able to use this!
