ConceptShare is a simple, cost-effective tool for gathering feedback from team members and clients. Upload files from your Box.net account, and invite other users to view and discuss them. ConceptShare offers versatile features that allow others to give clear, specific comments on documents, photos, and any of the numerous other file types with which it is compatible.Meetings can be held in real time, or users can make comments at their leisure. ConceptShare can be set up to send email notifications in several convenient ways, so you can always keep up with what is happening. Participants can add text or pictures to the uploaded file with comments to clarify their meaning. Other features include the ability to upload related files to a workspace for easy access, add pictures from your hard drive, and crop documents and pictures.
To use ConceptShare, right click on a file and select “ConceptShare It.” Enter your username and password (or create and account if you don’t have one), and you’ll be taken to a screen displaying all of your current workspaces. Choose the one you wish to work on, and use the tools at the top of the screen to mark up the document, or leave comments using the “Add Comment” button at the bottom. So basically, it allows you to share multimedia files from different hardware and software platforms through the browser. No more troubleshooting the different extensions and preparing a file just so it can be viewed by different people with different systems in different locations. Hope that answers the confusion. Wish these guys woulda told us more here!
