Your Box account contains several tabs, each of which gives you access to different information and features related to your account. Tabs help you get to what you need quickly and easily.


The 'Updates' tab shows files that other Box members have sent to you or uploaded to a collaboration folder you both can access. Think of it as the Inbox for your Box account.

Your 'My Files' tab is the heart of your Box account. This is where you can see all of your files. As on your computer's hard drive, you can organize your files on Box in folders (and folders within folders).

The 'Collaborators' tab allows you to grant others access to specific folders within your account, letting you collaborate on documents and projects. This tab has two sub-tabs:
1) 'Collaborators' – Box users you are have invited to collaborate on a folder with you;
2) 'Sub-Users' – Users that you create to give restricted access to an existing folder. Sub-Users are a feature of Business and Enterprise accounts only.

The 'Services' tab allows you to add third-party applications to your account, allowing you to do more with your data. With these OpenBox services, you can edit documents and images online, send faxes directly from your Box account, and more.
