It appears that your firewall may be blocking Box.net or you are encountering an error.

Please contact your IT administrator to configure your firewall to recognize all sub-domains of .box.net and .boxcdn.net. The ports that should be opened for these domains are 80 and 443.

If that does not resolve the issue, then please submit a support ticket at http://www.box.net/help.

* If you have a Business account or are a Business User, you can create an anonymous uploader 'Guest' that will allow any user with access to a specific URL upload files to a given folder within your account. They will not be able to see any of the other files or folders within that folder and will not be able to delete or affect them.

To set this up, log into your Box account and click on the Collaborators page. Then click on the 'Guests' sub-tab and click 'Add Guest' in the upper-right corner of the page. Enter in a unique username and password and select a folder that you want the files to be uploaded to under the 'Guest location' drop-down. Most importantly, change the 'Access permission' to 'Write only (Anonymous Mode).'

Now click 'Okay' and look for the 'Auto-login URL' below the information about the Guest on the page. You can provide this link to anyone who you want to give upload access. They will not have to log in using the Username and Password you set the Guest up with originally. When they go to the URL, they will see a very simple page that gives them the ability to upload files.

*Please note the Guest feature is no longer available to new signups or upgrades. We suggest using collaboration as an alternative, please visit: http://www.box.net/help/97 for information on setting up collaboration.
