It appears that your firewall may be blocking Box.net or you are encountering an error.

Please contact your IT administrator to configure your firewall to recognize all sub-domains of .box.net and .boxcdn.net. The ports that should be opened for these domains are 80 and 443.

The 'Upload Widget' enables Business users to embed a small Box.net interface onto any website, blog or social networking services that supports HTML embed code.  Using this widget you can easily allow anyone who visits to upload files onto a pre-selected folder within your account.  This feature is useful when your business needs require customers or associates to submit any type of file without requiring them to log in or to create an account.

To create the Upload Widget, click on the little blue box with the white downward arrow next to any folder and select 'Embed folder in your site.' Select the 'Upload dropbox' tab to customize and receive the HTML code.  Copy and paste this code onto any website or posting page that supports embedded code and your widget will be published for the world to access.  As new files or folders are uploaded you will be able to see and access these files while viewing the folder within your Box.net account. However, others accessing your widget will not be able to view or access the contents of your folder.
