Box.net offers a handful of ways to upload files into your account. The quickest and simplest way to add a file is by clicking the 'Upload' button on the "My Files" tab. You'll find the upload button towards the right of your screen.

You will be given the choice to either add files from your computer, or to launch the drag-and-drop applet. If you select the 'Add files' method, you’ll be presented with a window displaying files from your computer that are available for upload. Just as you add an attachment to an email, you can navigate through your computer in this window until you find the file(s) you would like to upload.

Drag and drop is useful when you want to upload large numbers of files, as it lets you literally drag one or more files into a window, and then upload them to your account. When you click on that option, a second, small window will launch in your browser. When the window's Java applet has loaded, simply drag the files you want to upload from your desktop into this new window, and then click 'upload'. If you choose this method, please make sure not to drag files onto the main Box.net page, but only into the pop-up window.

Finally, you can upload files to Box.net by emailing them to us using the email client of your choice. Simply attach the file(s) you would like to upload to an email message, and send the message to upload@box.net.   Be sure that you use the email address that is associated with your Box.net account.
