It appears that your firewall may be blocking Box.net or you are encountering an error.

Please contact your IT administrator to configure your firewall to recognize all sub-domains of .box.net and .boxcdn.net. The ports that should be opened for these domains are 80 and 443.

Help › Password Protecting Web Links

Box.net allows you to password protect web links, requiring visitors to enter the set password to access the file or folder. This is a premium feature which is unavailable on 'Plus' and free accounts.  To use this feature, click on the little blue box with the white downward arrow next to the file or folder and select ‘Link to this File’ or ‘Link to this Folder.’

 



You will then see 'Password protect this share' Click that and type the password you wish to use. Next, click on 'Set this password' and then 'Close' to finish this action. To deactivate the password later, go back to this dialogue box and select 'Deactivate.'
