Structured for Security & Oversight
Box Enterprise is built to ensure that you have complete control and oversight of your data. The solution consists of a set of linked, full-feature Box Professional accounts-- each with its own set of Sub-Users, allowing your employees to create their own spaces for web collaboration-- all overseen by an administrator with access to the Box Management Console. With the Box Management Console, an administrator can provision new accounts, adjust account properties (e.g. increase or decrease storage assigned to a user), and track the activity of all the users s/he manages.
Inside and Outside the Enterprise
Box Enterprise provides secure solutions for both internal and external collaboration needs. Employees can each be given full-feature Seats within the account, while outside clients, vendors, and other partners can be granted semi-permanent, restricted access to single folders as Sub-Users.
Variable Permissions
To ensure that you maintain complete control of your data, Box Enterprise offers variable levels of access permissions. Collaborators may be added to folders as either Editors (full access) or Viewers (read-only); any given Sub-User has either Read-Only, Write-Only or Read & Write privileges for the files s/he has access to. Sub-User access to a Box is always password protected, and any related files transfers are encrypted.
